These two figures represent the healing spirit of immigrant children. The bird on the right is adorning their partner with gold embroidery on the chest, strengthening them and appreciating their beauty so they create an even stronger union. The immigrant child is sharing the love they received from their parents and the strength of their lineage, allowing it to evolve and adapt in their new environment, which is how they have become adorned themselves. I have so much adoration for the love in immigrant families and the strength they give to their children, by showing their own courage by starting anew and providing a substantially greater life for their kin. This is such a gift to give.
